Dungeon Drag: a free one-finger dungeon crawler
Drag. Slay. Survive. Dungeon Drag is a pixel-art dungeon crawler you play with one finger: trace a trail through matching tiles, chain swords through the monsters, and survive their counterattack. Level up, learn skills, enchant your gear and unlock ten heroes. It is free in your browser on phone or PC, with no download and no signup.
How to play
- Drag through 3 or more matching tiles that touch, in any of the 8 directions (diagonals count), then release to collect them. Drag back onto the previous tile to undo a step; a trail shorter than 3 cancels at no cost.
- Swords and monsters chain together. Every monster in the trail takes base damage plus your damage per sword for each sword in it. Monsters marked with a red X will die.
- Then the monsters strike back. After each trail, every monster already on the board attacks. Monsters that just dropped in (tagged new) wait a turn.
- Potions restore health and cure poison. Shields repair your armor, and once it is full they fill the blue Enchant bar. Coins fill your purse; when it is full, the Merchant visits.
- Arrows reach a monster or sword one tile away. Linkstones join two kinds of tile in one trail. Trophies dropped by elites unlock new heroes: tap one to claim it.
- Armor first. Attacks hit your armor before your health. At 0 health the run ends, and the monsters grow stronger every turn.
- Grow stronger: fill the green XP bar to level up and pick 2 of 4 boons (attributes or skills), enchant your gear with the blue bar, and buy replacement items from the Merchant.

Scoring
You score for every monster slain (its value), elites (3x their value + 25), long trails (6+ tiles: +10% of that trail's kill points for every tile past 5), every turn survived (+1) and every level gained (+50), plus the Knotwork crossing bonus and, in the Hundred Turn Dash, 10 x the health you have left. Difficulty multiplies it all: Easy x0.5, Normal x1, Hard x1.5, Nightmare x2.5. The game-over screen breaks your score down.
Tips
- Each tile beyond the 3rd in a trail has a chance to count double, so long trails pay off.
- Combine skills before you drag: they never cost a turn.
- Keep your armor topped up: as long as the total attack is no higher than your armor, you lose no health.
- Check the Bestiary: every hero has a nemesis among the 33 elite monsters that turns up more often and hits harder.
